The 7th of May is finally upon us!
After six weeks of political parties trying to pull out each other’s hair, it is finally time for the people to cast their vote.
The form of democracy we practice in the UK is far from perfect, but the right to vote is a liberty both men and women have laid down their lives to obtain for future generations.
Women are vastly under-represented, not only in parliament, but in UK voting statistics. The same goes for young people.
If you’re over 18 and registered to vote, we encourage every single one of you to head to the polling stations and exercise your right!!
Tomorrow is in the balance.
Polling stations are open from 7am until 10pm.
